Nathan Marz: Rama: build end-to-end scalable backends in 100x less code.

Nathan Marz is the founder of Red Planet Labs. He previously created the Apache Storm project and wrote the book "Big Data: Principles and Best Practices of Scalable Realtime Data Systems".
Rama: build end-to-end scalable backends in 100x less code.
Rama is a new programming platform that rethinks from the ground up how application backends should be built. It's a "programmable datastore" that scales infinitely, provides strong fault-tolerance, and is infinitely more powerful than any database or stream processor that has ever existed. It's powerful abstractions enable end-to-end backends to be expressed in a tiny fraction of the code it takes otherwise.
